Повісті «Під тихий вечір» Б. Лепкого і «Вікторія» К. Гамсуна: парадигма «Страченої молодости»

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано світоглядно-образні простори повістей Б. Лепкого «Під тихий вечір» та К. Гамсуна «Вікторія». Встановлено споріднені тематико-проблематичні комплекси у творах. Розглянуто засади художнього творення парадигми «страченої молодости», простежено стильове вираження модерністського лірико-розповідного тону у повістях. Акцентовано на лепківському і гамсунівському художньо-образному тлумаченні причин «страченої молодости» Христини і Михайла, Вікторії та Юганнеса. З‘ясовано ідейно-смислові функції колористики, яка у повістях обох письменників постає одним із найважливіших засобів реалізації художнього задуму.

The article analyzes the world-view-shaped spaces of B. Lepky‘s "Toward a Quiet Eveninп" and K. Hamsun‘s "Victoria". The related thematicproblematic complexes were established in the stories: between the home teacher Mykhailo and the countess Cristina a "silent drama" arose, which B. Lepky draws beyond the personal limits, and, typing, transforms into a national problem. In "Victoria" the "drama" center is concentrated primarily in the space of emotions and psychology of the main characters. The story of B. Lepky is complicated by many plot elements – the compositional complexity of "Victoria" is due to the interweaving of an objective narrative with complex narratives and lyric indents. The ideological principles of the paradigm of "lost youth" are considered, the stylistic expression of the modernist lyrical and narrative tone in the stories is traced. The emphasis is on B. Lepky and K. Hamsun‘s artistic interpretation of the causes of "lost youth" of Cristina and Mykhailo, Victoria and Johannes: writers do not put personal happiness in full dependence on social circumstances, but deduced it from personal will and individual psychology ("characte").
