Типологія та функції односкладних речень у романі «Марія» Уласа Самчука

Abstract

Стаття присвячена розгляду односкладних речень у романі Уласа Самчука «Марія». У сучасній синтаксичній теорії проблема вивчення односкладних речень тривалий час є актуальною. У статті охарактеризовано односкладні речення з формально- граматичного і семантичного погляду, описано основні типи цих речень. Простежено своєрідність синтаксичної будови та функціонування односкладних речень у прозовій мові Уласа Самчука. У результаті розгляду семантико-синтаксичної організації художньої оповіді Уласа Самчука виявлено, що письменник часто вживає односкладні конструкції, наділяючи їх різноманітною естетичною вагою.

The article is dedicated to the consideration of one-member sentences in the novel "Maria" by Ulas Samchuk. In modern syntactic theory, the problem of studying one-member sentences has been debatable and urgent for a long time. The article characterizes onemember sentences from formal grammatical and semantic point of view, describes the main types of these sentences. We traced originality of syntactic structure and functioning of one-member sentences in Ulas Samchuk's prose. As a result of the consideration of the semantic-syntactic organization of the artistic story by Ulas Samchuk, it is revealed that the writer often uses one-member sentences, giving them a variety of aesthetic weight. We found that the most used are definite-personal, indefinite-personal, impersonal and nominative sentences. Using these one-word sentences, the author creates landscape sketches that act as the background on which the events unfold. Ulas Samchuk fills his story with emotions and psychology. It is revealed that monosyllabic sentences used in monologues, and reflections of characters often help to reproduce the psychological state of characters, to convey an assessment of the depicted events. Most often, Samchuk uses monosyllabic sentences in landscapes, dialogues, monologues. Using these constructions the author enriches an arsenal of visual and expressive means of artistic narration.
